B2 Series Super Battle Droid

The B2 Series Super Battle Droid is a marked improvement in the original B1 Series Battle Droid design. Larger and armored, the Super Battle Droid relies on a central control computer for guidance, but it doesn’t deactiviate when it loses contact with the remote processor thanks to a backup internal processor—a droid brain that takes over when the droid loses communication with the central computer. This second brain allows the droid to store its last set of orders and continue acting on them even after the remote processor has shut down.

Super Battle Droids can be played as droid heroes.
