The melee attack of a pack or swarm is an area attack that affects all squares with in reach. The ranged attacks of a pack or swarm are considered to have a 1-square splash. Area attacks deal an extra 2 dice of damage against a pack or swarm. See Game Concept: Packs and Swarms for rules on creating packs or swarms of beasts.
