Atmosphere, Vacuum (CL 8)

Unknown Regions, page 102.
The vacuum of space holds no air and diffuses heat, freezing anything exposed to it.
Type: Atmospheric, contact, natural
Trigger: A creature begins its turn in a vacuum.
Attack: +20 vs. Fortitude Defense
Damage/Effect: 1d6, and the target moves −2 steps on the condition track (Miss: No damage, and the target moves −1 step on the condition track).
Special Attack: Automatic hit on attacks against unconscious targets.
Special Damage: 1d6 cumulative; if this damage equals or exceeds the target’s damage threshold, the target dies.
Recurrence: On trigger.
Skill:
Endurance (DC 10): The character holds his or her breath for 1 round, reducing the vacuum’s attack roll by 10. Each round the character holds his or her breath in this manner, the check DC increases by 2.
Special: A creature cannot move back up the condition track until it is returned to a breathable atmosphere.

Vacuum (Deprecated)

Saga Edition Core Rulebook, page 253.

When a creature is exposed to a vacuum, make an attack roll (1d20+20) against the character’s Fortitude Defense. If the attack succeeds, the creature takes 1d6 points of damage, and moves −2 steps down the condition track. If the attack fails, the creature takes no damage, but moves −1 step down the condition track. The target cannot move back up the condition track until it is returned to a breathable atmosphere. A creature knocked unconscious by exposure to a vacuum automatically takes a cumulative 1d6 points of damage each round (that is, 1d6 the first round, 2d6 the second, 3d6 the third, and so on). If this damage ever exceeds the creature’s damage threshold, it dies.
