There will likely be times when you find yourself in a fight with no weapon. If you are into gladiator-style combat that might be more often than not. When you find yourself in such situations, you will need to rely on your own natural physical abilities and these various gloves will help enhance them.

All gloves are two sizes smaller than their wearer (for example, a pair of gloves designed for a Jawa the gloves are Diminutive, whereas for a Human are Tiny). The statistics shown here are ordered respectively (Diminutive/Tiny). Because of how they are worn, gloves can’t be disarmed or dropped.

Combat Gloves

Simple Weapons

Saga Edition Core Rulebook, page 121.

     Cost: 150/250 credits   Weight: 0.4kg/0.5kg   Availability: —

Damage: 1d3+1/1d4+1   Stun: —   Type: Bludgeoning

A pair of padded gloves provides extra hitting power thanks to their weight and the materials used to construct them. Anyone who expects to get into a fistfight or a brawl probably wants to wear combat gloves. They provide a +1 bonus to damage on a successful unarmed attack.

Shockboxing Gloves

Simple Weapons

     Galaxy at War, page 37.

Cost: 500/600 credits   Weight: 0.4kg/0.5kg   Availability: Restricted

Damage: 1d3+1/1d4+1   Stun: 1d3+1/1d4+1   Type: Bludgeoning, Energy

Shockboxing gloves are powered gauntlets worn during a shockboxing match. Shockboxing gloves protect the wearer&rsquos hands and also deal damage to any character hit by them. Shockboxing gloves are similar to stunning gauntlets (see below). However, unlike stunning gauntlets, shockboxing gloves have varios settings, from lethal to a light shock (for sparring) as well as a stun setting.

Shockboxing gloves provide a +1 bonus to damage with a successful unarmed attack. They can be set to stun as a swift action, converting the wearer’s unarmed damage to stun damage (and providing the +1 bonus to stun damage).

Stunning Gauntlets

Simple Weapons

Knights of the Old Republic, page 202.

Cost: 200/300 credits   Weight: 0.4kg/0.5kg   Availability: Restricted

Damage: —   Stun: 1d3+1/1d4+1   Type: Energy

An insulated glove with an embedded energy cell, the stunning gauntlet produces an electrifying charge when it strikes a target. A stunning gauntlet changes the wearer’s unarmed melee attacks to stun damage, and they provide a +1 bonus to stun damage on a successful unarmed attack.
